What this firm is, plainly
Mandi Law Group LLP is a New York immigration law firm with one office, at 22 Century Hill Drive #101 in Latham. It is a new practice. The New York work was previously carried on under the name Musani & Imtiaz Law Group, LLP, so if that is the name you were given, you have found the right people.
The firm is led by M. Riaz Musani, Esq., who has worked in United States immigration law since 2012 and is admitted to the bar in New York and Connecticut. He takes the consultations and handles the cases: family petitions and adjustment of status, employment petitions for Capital Region employers, asylum and humanitarian relief, waivers, removal defence, appeals, and naturalisation.
He separately practises in Connecticut through Law Offices of M. Riaz Musani, LLC in West Hartford. That is a different firm, with its own address and its own telephone number, connected to Mandi Law Group only through the shared founder. Mandi Law Group has no second office, and the only telephone number for this firm is (518) 698-0347.
What the Latham office adds is simple and, in the Capital Region, unusual: a door. You can walk in between 9:00 and 18:00 on any weekday, without an appointment, and put your notices on a table in front of a lawyer — a few minutes from the USCIS Albany Field Office where this region’s interviews are held.

- Entry date, I-94, every prior filing, every notice, and any arrest anywhere. Those facts decide which forms of relief exist. Only after they are on the table does anyone talk about strategy.
- The filing is built, not assembled
- Petitions go out with the evidence that answers the question the adjudicator will ask — not a checklist of the minimum. When a request for evidence arrives, the reply is drafted against the specific regulation cited.
- Six languages
- Consultations in English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati or Swahili. Documents are read through with you rather than merely collected from you.
